Reconnect with your Family and Nature in this wonderful half-day Family Tubing Adventure.
Soak in the nature around you as you float down the river with your kids. Watch as they play and learn from your private River Guide. This educational adventure will teach the kids water safety while exploring all the river has to offer from birds and fish to amphibians and plants.
During this family adventure we:
- Paddle, float, play, swim and splash in the water
- Learn about the river (birds, fish, mussels, insects & amphibians)
- Spend time outdoors with your family (minus the technology)
- Create memories to cherish
Cost: $160 (All-Inclusive) – family of four (4) or less
Included: River Guide, 4 tubes, paddles, kids life jackets, safety kits & dry bag. $10/additional child in a tube (maximum weight capacity 250 lbs per tube)
Dates: June & July – Monday, Tuesday & Thursday mornings at 9 am (additional dates & times may be booked if River Guide is available)
Timing: 9 am – finish (estimate 2-3 hours – adventure time varies based on river flows and stops along the way)
Location: Nith River (10 minutes from Paris, Ontario)
COVID 19 PROTOCOLS: All equipment (tubes, paddles, life vests & gear) are cleaned and sanitized between each adventure. Upon arrival Guests & River Guide are required to wear face masks until all participants have their equipment and have signed waiver and release forms. Guest will be asked mandatory Covid19 questions.
If you have any symptoms, have come into contact with Covid19 or are from a Grey Zone, we ask that you do not attend (special exceptions will be made to our refund policy if you need to cancel due to Covid19 exposure.) Masks are not required during the adventure. The guide will continue to wear a mask or keep 6 feet between themselves and guests (except in cases of emergency.)
Upon arriving, you will park your vehicle on the side of the road and connect with your River Guide. Life vests will be fitted for all kids and paddles and dry-bag will be provided. Please expect to get wet on this adventure. Following a 10-15 minute walk, we will arrive at your tubes and the waters edge. Your river guide will review water safety protocols with the whole family and transition everyone comfortably into their tubes. Our adventure will begin as we float and paddle along the river. The morning is now at your pleasure. You can swim as well as breaks to enjoy snacks, food and water.
We estimate the experience to be approximately 2-3 hours in length. We request that kids are not allowed to have technology on the river and that parents limit their usage to taking photos for memories. Dates are limited so book your Family Tubing Adventure now.
This joyful immersion in the sun, water, and nature offers a fresh, fun family adventure. Designed with young families in mind. (this is not recommended for babes in arms.) Our time on the river is short, 2-3 hours, perfect for young kids between the ages of 4-12. When the adventure is done your kids will be left wanting more, the perfect way to end a first river experience. All kids MUST wear a life vest when in a tube.
