We check all the boxes. Ageless Arts Yoga is a Yoga Alliance (Y/A) Registered School. Our 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training (RYT-200) not only meets but exceeds the Y/A guidelines. We are excited to continue to offer our training live online. It is our mission to make yoga accessible to everybody and every body.

YTT 200 Certification

At Ageless Arts, YTT 200 course students will study a blend of integrated yoga techniques including traditional Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Kripalu, Restorative Yoga and more. This training will weave together the physical, mental, emotional, philosophical and energetic aspects of yoga while addressing a variety of topics from classical yoga:

• Learning about the 8 limbs of yoga
• Breaking down  32 asanas (postures)
• Practicing meditation and pranayama (breathing techniques)
• Experiential anatomy in relation to yoga
• Studying ancient Sanskrit (the language of yoga)
• Understanding yogic philosophy and ethics

In addition, students also have the opportunity to practice teaching on each other as well as on their own. They learn to create a safe yoga practice, to present themselves in the classroom, and conduct an inspirational yoga class. Most importantly, they can explore and deepen their own personal experience with yoga—even if they have no intention of teaching later.

This program is accessible to everyone over 16 years of age. No matter what your challenges (age, limited mobility, weight), you are welcome to attend. We believe that yoga is for everybody—and every body.

Programs are run three times a year, in a one-month intensive (40 hours per week), a 2×10 format (new for us!) and weekly over the school year.

Yoga Toolbox can be purchased through Ageless Arts (at a discounted price for YTT students), at many bookstores, online or borrowed from the library. We have a library of books at the studio that you are welcome to borrow from as well. Your training manual will be provided to you digitally in order to maintain our goal of running a green program.

Homework includes 4 book reports. One of the books can be substituted with a movie or documentary. Book reports are for the purpose of deepening your knowledge of living yoga. Books must be approved by Ageless Arts. See the link below for currently approved books.

Live Online Yoga Teacher Training

Many of us are self-isolating during this unique period of COVID-19. At Ageless Arts Yoga we have been stepping out of our comfort zone and learning all the skills necessary to bring our trainings Live Online. Our mission is to make yoga accessible to everybody and every body. Now is the perfect time to learn all the skills necessary to become an Ageless Arts Yoga Certified 200 hour Yoga Teacher.

We will connect via that online Zoom Platform. In addition to our usual YTT requirements, you will need access to a screen (laptop, tablet or phone) reliable wifi, access to Zoom (via app or add-on) and a willingness to learn live online.

Sept 30 – April 28th, 2020 – 2021
Wed        5:30 pm – 9:30 pm weekly
+ 2 additional yoga classes per week
+ Bonus – Foundations of Chair Yoga Certification
